Leading a conversation about belonging

As a People Leader, you play a huge role in providing a safe space where associates feel included and valued, no matter where they work.

Associates who agree that their leaders care are three times more likely to feel they really belong. When associates feel like they belong, they have over a week’s worth of more Healthy Days per month than those who don’t feel like they belong (23 vs. 14 Healthy Days). That matters and impacts how work gets done.

Building a culture of belonging is important for our business because when people feel safe to bring their authentic selves to work, we can synthesize multiple points of view and see a more accurate representation of the communities we serve.
